International Women’s Day High Tea
On the 9th of August we celebrate National Women’s Day, and this year we gathered in style as ladies and gentlemen walked into our illustrious church hall for a High Tea.
There were scrumptious tiers of sweet and savory treats on each elegantly decorated table for all to enjoy, with wonderful melodies filling the air, as our guests chattered away. The atmosphere was abundant with sophistication and lighthearted cheer. Our guests were inspired and their hearts filled with the motivational words of our guest speakers, bringing light and hope to all there.
Without question, the whole event would not have been possible had it not been for the gracious hands and efforts of Maria and Despo Theologides, Artemis Michaletos and Effie Saridakis. The contributions received from all who attended will be going towards the restoration of the icons in our beloved church.
We hope to make this occasion a yearly tribute to the incredible women of our community and are grateful to those who supported.

“I attended the Women’s Day event at St George’s Church Hall on Saturday, which was a special high tea. The event was beautifully organised, with every detail thoughtfully planned.
